Long Eared Owl

Open Studios

Thank you so very much to anyone who came along to Cockpit's Open Studios weekend...I had such positive feedback and so many left contact details for my mailing list...I was really delighted by the interest.
Special thanks to you if you purchased some work, it was wonderful to come back and see how much had sold...if a little sad to lose some of my favourite fabric friends!...I hope you'll all be very happy with your purchases and give them good homes. Here are some photos of the studio before the selling started...

I now have new work to add to my shop so please come and take a look...

Birds, bird houses, pocket mirrors....

Coast magazine feature

This months issue of Coast magazine features a beautiful photo of my Black Winged Stilt.
Really delighted with how they've shot it...and that it got it's own full page!

The Talented Mr McAulay strikes again

My wonderfully talented friend Graeme McAulay and I took a stroll into the wilds of Hackney a few weeks back and shot some new photos of my birds...
Here's a little selection of the days accomplishments...I think you'll agree Graeme takes a lovely photo!

I've had a couple of pleas now for info on how to get hold of my newest little creation...Ponsenby Owl. The ones I've posted pictures of are taken but they can be replicated, and even made in your choice of colours...availability permitting!
A wee little Owl like these ones here costs £130. They are part of a new series of work I am making which is very highly detailed...huge amounts of hand stitching and subsequent finger pricking!
If you are interested in owning your own little Owl...(Ponsenby is sitting by my desk now napping like he does most days!...I can say he's a wonderful companion!)...then please just email me:
Many thanks for the interest in him!
