Letter Press Wedding Stationery
It's not something I have ever actively promoted, but over the past few years I've been appointed Chief Invitation Maker by family and friends!
The latest invitations are my favourite to date, for my dear friend Francesca.
We went for a design inspired by traditional wallpaper patterns...but given a little quirky twist.
They were printed using a letter press, something I'd been eager to try.
So a note to all who might drop by, personalised stationery is something I really enjoy doing so if you'd be interested to find out more please drop me an email.

Birth date Wall Art
I keep being told how hard it is to find cool art for kids rooms...so I just thought I'd drop a note about the wall art I produce.
As well as the canvas pieces I also occasionally make flat art work.

Here's a peek at some wall art commemorating a babies birth date...this is something which is easily commissioned, to a whole range of styles and price ranges, from paper art to fabric.
Please just get in touch if you're interested to know more.

Retro-Kitsch exhibition
A small selection of birds have arrived at the 20:21 Visual Arts Centre in Scunthorpe, to be included in their 'Retro-Kitsch' exhibition, opening 23rd May.
Retro Kitsch features designers and makers who are influenced by the revival in Kitsch fashions. Whether it be the swirling patterns and gaudy colours of the 1970s or the psychedelic fashions of the 1960s, Retro Kitsch features artists and designers influenced by exuberant designs and striking colours.
This selling exhibition of decorative crafts includes Jewellery made to look like strings of boiled sweets, Sylvie Fuller's beautiful ceramics and Vicky Scott's fabulous Art Nouveau inspired artworks, along with a whole host of brightly coloured and quirky objects and artworks.

A tiny little Owl named Ponsenby
I started work on a long awaited present for my dear friend Graeme, who takes wonderful photos of my bird friends for me.
Graeme had asked for an owl and so I set to making a little barn owl last week...who evolved into the cutest little thing that I can't ever bear to part with...Sorry Graeme!
Whilst this owl won't be leaving me...EVER...he is going up on the Etsy shop as an item that can be commissioned...and of course I shall be making a replacement for Graeme.

Get in touch if you feel you might want such a little owl of cuteness for your very own.
I have some beautiful outdoor shots of him to post shortly...taken on an outing to Marble Hill park in Richmond...
...he has been delightfully named Ponsenby (thank you Benedict)

Coastal Birds
I'm gradually working on more and more bird studies, so little feathered friends you might recognise will slowly appear on here over the coming months. Some are to feature in various exhibitions I am working towards and some have been special projects or commissions.
If you like whats beginning to emerge and would like to commission a specific breed of bird then please get in touch...I'm having a lot of fun with them!
So these first ones are from a series of coastal birds...here we have a Black Winged Stilt and a Red Necked Avocet.
